About ExCeL London
The Venue
With an impressive portfolio of designing and building thousands of stands at ExCel London, Creation are a leading name in creating stunning exhibition stands. Our extensive experience includes collaborating with clients from around the world.
ExCeL London sits on Royal Victoria Dock in east London, with its event halls running either side of a central boulevard. It hosts some of the UK's biggest trade shows, including DSEI, where we've built for clients. We plan every ExCeL stand around the hall, the build-up window and the venue's rules, and we handle the rigging plans, electrics orders and paperwork so your team just turns up and exhibits.
Over the years, the London ExCeL has grown into one of the premier event venues in the world, hosting major international events like the G20 Summit, the London Boat Show, and the World Travel Market. The centre has also been used as a filming location for movies and TV shows, including the James Bond film “The World Is Not Enough” and the BBC drama “Doctor Who.”
The London ExCeL features over 100,000 square meters of event space spread across two main buildings: the West Entrance and the East Entrance. These spaces can be used separately or combined to host events of all sizes, from small meetings to massive trade shows and conventions.

Yes. We prepare and submit the venue paperwork, including stand plans, risk assessments and method statements and order rigging and electrics through the organiser. We do this at venues like ExCeL London, the NEC and Olympia London, so your team doesn’t have to.
Book 2–3 months ahead for a modular stand, 3–6 months for a custom stand and 6–12 months for a double-deck. That leaves time for design rounds, venue approvals and production without rush costs. We can move faster when we have to: we built over 600sqm for COP26 on just over three weeks’ notice, but it's not something to be done lightly!
Double-decker exhibition stands look amazing and stand you out from the crowd literally and metaphorically. We own our own double deck structure so that we can design and build double deck exhibition stands cost effectively and sustainably.
